Jonathan Norfleet has built a career at the intersection of finance, stewardship, and long-term planning. He currently serves as Manager of Treasury & Investments at Citizens Property Insurance, where he oversees institutional investment portfolios totaling up to $15 billion in assets under management. His experience spans portfolio management, fixed-income investing, bond issuances, and strategic financial planning, bringing a strong analytical and fiduciary perspective to the organizations he serves.
Before entering the investment field, Jonathan spent four years as an officer in the United States Merchant Marine, where he developed the leadership, discipline, and operational decision-making skills that continue to shape his professional approach today.
Originally from Missouri, Jonathan has always been drawn to adventure, self-reliance, and the outdoors. He is an avid rock climber, rafter, skier, and sailor, and values the way outdoor experiences build resilience, perspective, and connection. His passion for recreation and conservation aligns closely with SCHI’s mission of creating thoughtful, sustainable access to wild and remote places.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Central Florida and earned his MBA from Florida State University. As Treasurer of SCHI, he brings extensive financial expertise, strategic planning skills, and a deep appreciation for the outdoor experiences the organization seeks to preserve and expand for future generations.
